LEVAR (3) built on a nice second two starts back at Esk with success over 4f at Nanango four weeks ago, getting home by a head. Kelly Gates scored on him last time and retains the ride. Looks well placed so expect another big run. IMMORTAL LASS (4) opened this prep last start with a third, beaten 1.75 lengths, over 5f at Gladstone. Looks to have an edge on most of these. NINE CIGARS (5) is close to breaking through after finishing second last start over 4¼f at Gympie when he was prominent throughout. Morgan Butler gets the best out of this 11-year-old gelding. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ENFLAMED (2) was beaten 6 lengths into fourth over 5½f at Charleville at his latest appearance. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
