WAR MATTERS (2) made late ground and finished 1. 75 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 1m2 1/2f at Ascot, an improvement on his 11th at Ascot the run before. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. IRAYCHOUX (1) was too good for a maiden field last start over 1m2f at this track, scoring by 0. 9 lengths. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Re-unites with Christopher Nicoll who was on board last start. Nicely placed to double the win tally. ELECTRIC BEC (3) accounted for a maiden field over 1m3f at this track last start, finishing 0. 6 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Natika Riordan was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Harder task ahead this time but can measure up. LEAD BY EXAMPLE (8) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2f at Pinjarra, beaten 5. 5 lengths into sixth. Well placed to make amends.
