COONDLE (4) is back at the races for the first time since January 26. Scored over 5f at Bunbury to launch the last campaign. Now under the care of new trainer Sue Olive. Sure to make his presence felt. DELICATE RULER (1) finished off last campaign with a 11th over 5½f at Mt Barker on January 18 and has since switched yards. Generally runs well when fresh, recording two minor placings from four runs. One of the primary contenders. SCENIC WINGS (7) used the rails draw to good effect last start, bouncing straight to the lead and scoring an all-the-way win over 5½f at Narrogin. In the mix. PLAYFUL STAR (8) was below her best last time when sixth over 6f at Rockingham, beaten 5 lengths. Finds a nice race and can bounce back.
