ACES TO WIN (6) was a new acquisition for the Darryn Pateman stable last start when he made steady ground to run into third over 7½f at Albany. Can go a couple better. THE TOP BAR (3) finished fifth over 7f38yards at this track at his most recent appearance on August 12. Has found the right race. POWER TO RULE (7) took advantage of the good draw and raced on the pace last start before tiring to finish seventh, beaten 7 lengths, over 6½f at Northam. Will give backers a sight. HOBELAR (4) returns from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished sixth at Moora over 5f when when resuming last time in work. Fitter for a sixth in a recent trial over 4f141yards at Lark Hill.
