THE KOBAY TRAIN (8) missed the frame when resuming last start over 5½f at Mackay but wasn't all that far from the winner. Usually performs well with that run under her belt. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Best figures should see her run well. CHALKLEY (6) was below his best last time when ninth over 5f185yards at Moranbah, beaten 18 lengths. Nicely placed to make amends. SILVER CITY (1) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a ninth over 6f at Townsville. Tackling a more suitable race this time so he is a major player.
