CALL ME EDDY (1) finished fourth last start over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic after racing on the pace for much of the way. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. KINDLY (7) did her best work late to finish second at her latest appearance at Strathalbyn over 6f. Won't find this as tough. Among the leading chances in this company. MERCHANT OF GREECE (2) is a four-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Stephen Theodore stable. Finished off last campaign with a 12th at Pakenham Synthetic three months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Should feature in the finish. CYNANE (11) finished eighth when resuming two runs back then did a good job last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Naracoorte, beaten only 0.9 lengths. This looks a good race for her so another forward showing looks likely.
