Sure to have improved over the lay-off and is expected to measure up. JUST A JEWEL (13) was never really a threat when resuming last start over 6f at Swan Hill, finishing 7 lengths from the winner in eighth. Settles back early but winds up late. Winning claims on best figures. MANDARIN (10) has raced twice. Was second on debut then clocked-in 5 lengths from the winner in sixth last time out over 6f at Balaklava. Backmarker who gets home hard. Can do better. Solid top-three hope.
