Trialling well leading into this. Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. Reunites with Michael Dee who has a win when partnering. Bold showing expected. YUKI (11) launched his career with a win two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when prominent at the bend before winding up in second over 6¼f at Geelong, beaten a nose. Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to bounce back. SAVOYARD (4) resumes after a break of five-and-a-half months. Won on debut to launch the last campaign over 6f at Pakenham. Fitter for a minor placing in a recent Mornington trial. Has ability and should be right in the finish. CELESTIAL ZARA (12) was a winner over 6f at Murtoa last time, racing on the pace before getting the upper hand and scoring by a neck. Solid top-three chance.
