DIAMOND EYE (1) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a neck, over 7f at Sale. Jake Noonan has registered two minor placings when on board. Bold showing expected. SKYDREAM (8) is back after a break of five months. Went close to a maiden win before the layoff, finishing second at her latest appearance over 1m at Terang. Has trialled well leading into this. Nicely placed and expected to go well. GALACTIC GIRL (2) started at 13/8 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 9 lengths at Moe over 6f. Facing a tougher assignment but she is up to the task. ABAYA (9) is a well-related three-year-old filly lining up for the first time. By Ghaiyyath from Accessories who has produced some fine gallopers, including a winner at G1 level. At her most recent trial was out of the placings at Mornington. Comes from a stable which has an impressive strike rate with the first-starters. Promising type who looks set to play a big role.
