PENTLE BAY (4) finished out of the money but was not too far away when resuming last start over 7½f at Caulfield Heath. Will appreciate a drop in grade. Sure to go well. PROMISED LAND (3) is a distance specialist who is progressing well this campaign. Opened with a fourth at Pakenham two starts back then landed the prize by a nose as favourite last time out over 1m at Pakenham. Finds a suitable assignment and can continue the winning form. CHARMING DEEL (12) ran below expectations last time at Caulfield Heath, finishing fifth and beaten 3 lengths. Worth another chance.
