THE STORYTELLER (3) was in the placings last time out over 2m3 1/2f at Sandown-Lakeside. Prior to that had won two races on end. Key runner who can make amends. NASSAK DIAMOND (4) got well back over 1m4f at Moe last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 13 lengths away in fourth. Will enjoy a drop in class so she will be hard to beat. SASTERION (7) was a determined maiden winner last time out, scoring by half a length over 1m3 1/4f at Werribee. Looks well placed and he should be in the finish again. LODBROK (1) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m4f at Swan Hill, beaten 4. 5 lengths into fourth. No surprise to see him in contention.
