SEAFALL (6) is a distance specialist who improved sharply on her sixth two starts back at Caulfield with a win over 1m at Mornington two weeks ago, getting home by one length. Enjoys a drop in grade so she is sure to prove hard to beat again. ZAIN BLUE (5) took up the running last time and turned in front but faded to finish fifth, beaten 3 lengths, over this journey at Caulfield. Fitter again and the winkers removed this time. Looks a top chance. OTAGO (8) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten only one length after being in the firing line on the bend. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he deserves plenty of thought. OAK BEACH (14) was prominent at the bend and finished second last time over 7f at Sandown-Lakeside when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1. 75 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run.
