Race Tip

REGAL GENT (16) has been in the betting at both starts but hasn't managed to live up to market expectations. Most recently finished sixth over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside, beaten 2.5 lengths. One of the leading contenders in this suitable contest. CASUAL GHAI (2) is a four-start maiden who finished fourth, beaten 1.75 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at Mornington. Can come on from that run and looks a serious contender. AITU (15) has not raced since his debut back on May 22 when he finished fifth over 6f at Pakenham. Open to improvement and can feature. KIRKSVILLE (6) did a fair job on debut last time out, finishing 0.9 lengths from the winner in third over 5½f at this track. Likely improver worth including.
