Race Tip

AMAZAKE (6) went back early from his wide draw over 7f27yards at Geelong last time but hit the line strongly to finish sixth. Will drift back but is sure to prove tough to beat. MATSUDA (10) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 5 lengths away in eighth over 1m1f at Flemington. Beautifully placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. COULDTHISBETHEONE (8) fought on well for third last start over 7½f at Mornington, making it two minor placings in a row. Draws ideally and is among the main chances. VIM VITAE (12) returned from a lay-off a week-and-a-half ago when he was beaten 4 lengths into tenth over 6½f at Sandown-Hillside. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
