ALPINE ROCKET (3) showed little early speed last start and failed to come on in the straight when seventh, beaten 10 lengths, over 1m2f at Mildura. The engagement of Harry Coffey is noteworthy. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. THUNDERING FALCON (4) is overdue for a win with two recent placings, the latest finishing third over 1m2 1/2f at Benalla, and is down in the weights this time. Meets a tougher line-up this time but he is a leading contender. CALLAWADDA (1) is an honest type who impressed last time, scoring by 2.25 lengths over 1m2 1/2f at Ballarat Synthetic. One of the main contenders again. HIGHLAND GLORY (5) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1m4f at Sandown-Hillside after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
