SECOND FIX (9) made steady ground over 6f at Ballarat to finish midfield last time out. Honest record at this distance and looks tough to beat. DEADLY PRESS (2) wasn't disgraced in city class last time when finishing sixth at Sandown-Hillside. Will find this easier. Well placed and sure to run well. CAPITAL ASSET (3) disappointed last time when fifth over 7½f at Sale after a close second at Sale the run prior. Looks better placed over this shorter trip so he is one of the main contenders. BIDEN TIME (5) has been freshened since finishing seventh over 7½f at Ballarat. Fitness level should be good following a subsequent Werribee trial. Winning claims on best figures.
