ALERO (1) ran below expectations last time at Echuca over 6f, finishing seventh and beaten 3.5 lengths. Should settle handy in the run. Leading contender. NIMBUSTWOTHOUSAND (5) missed the placings two runs back then settled well back last start when 2.5 lengths away in sixth over 7f at Sandown-Hillside. Worth noting Jamie Mott goes aboard. Finds a more suitable contest and can turn things around. WARPARTY (3) ran below expectations last time at Echuca, finishing sixth and beaten 2.5 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
