YAM (3) has scored at his last two starts, most recently by one length over 6½f at Swan Hill. That continued the solid form this campaign, with two wins and two minor placings from six starts. Top chance again. CINQUE PONTE (13) improved sharply on her seventh two starts back at Sale with success over 7f at Pakenham four weeks ago, getting home by half a length. Nicely placed to feature in the finish again. RENOVATION SHOW (11) showed good early dash and led for most of the way before fading to finish 4 lengths away in fourth over 1m at Mornington. Will push forward and is among the chances. WATS NORMAL (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 7f at Pakenham Synthetic, beaten 0.9 lengths into fifth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
