FIVE RINGS (2) was always well out of his ground when 21 lengths from the winner in tenth over 1m2f at Wangaratta last start, a less impressive effort than his eighth at Kyneton the run before. Best figures measure up nicely. Sure to run well. HIGHLAND GLORY (16) finished sixth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 1m4 1/4f at Geelong, beaten 4 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. RETROSPECTION (17) drifted well back and failed to finish it off last start when eighth, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 2m2f at this track. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. NO MATTER WHAT (11) fought on for second last start over 1m3 3/4f at Warrnambool, beaten 1.3 lengths to add to some fine recent form. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways.
