BEL LUPA (1) was well fancied on debut last start and was not far off the mark, finishing second and beaten 1.5 lengths over 5½f at Bendigo. Open to sharp improvement and can get off the mark this time. SHE HAS SPIRIT (10) took advantage of the good draw and raced on the pace when resuming last start then boxed on well to finish second, beaten 1.3 lengths, over 5f136yards at Geelong. Taking on a better line-up this time but she has the ability to mix it with them. UNOBSCURED (11) wasn't far away on debut last start over 5½f at Tatura, finishing second and beaten 1.5 lengths. Must be included among the main hopes. REGAL VISIONS (9) was well in commission on her debut over 7f at Pakenham back on May 8 and finished sixth, beaten 3 lengths. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up.
