PERFUME RIVER (6) is resuming from a lay-off of six-and-a-half months and having her first run for the Craig Weeding yard. Was in the placings when when resuming from a lay-off last campaign at Pakenham over 7f. Fitter for a fifth in a recent trial over 6f at Cranbourne. Looks set to run well for the new mentor. MOLLIFY (11) is a talented filly who tackled a tougher race at her last run on October 5 and finished ninth behind Too Darn Discreet over 1m in the G2 Edward Manifold Stakes at Flemington. Treat the removal of blinkers this prep as a positive sign. GIN BABA (3) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest at this track over 7f. Has a wide gate to overcome but on recent form is hard to leave out. DASHONARDO (2) stepped out for her debut over 6f at Pakenham Synthetic back on July 18 and finished tenth, beaten 5 lengths. Will take a lot from that last run and is worth following up.
