VALETUDO (12) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 6f at Caulfield Heath after being in the firing line on the corner. Has the ability to take this out. LIBERAMI (4) is back after a break of a year. At the last run before the layoff he finished fifth over 5f at Sandown-Hillside. Has ability and is a solid chance. SIGN FROM ABOVE (6) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at Caulfield Heath, finishing fifth and beaten 3.5 lengths over 6f. Won't find this as tough so he is a major player. SILENT ALERT (7) was close to a maiden win before a four-and-a-half months break, finishing off with a placing over 5½f at Wangaratta. Drawn to enjoy a nice run. Can kick off with a bold showing.
