HERAULT (2) drifted well back before winding up strongly to score an effortless 4 lengths win over 6½f at Northam last time out. Sure to be tough to stop again. NINE BALL (8) is a progressive galloper who is when resuming since finishing fifth over 7f at this track five-and-a-half months ago. Fitter for a recent trial at Ascot. Has never missed the frame when fresh from a lay-off in two starts. Nicely placed and sure to go well. STRAPPING PROPHET (7) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten a nose, over 7f at Ascot when coming back from a break. Likely improver with blinkers added. SOSO LUCKY (1) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fourth, beaten 1. 5 lengths, over 6f at Ascot. Outsprinted in the run home but kept coming and appears suited by the longer journey. Well placed and is among the chances.
