JOLSON AL (7) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at Northam over 5½f, beaten a long neck. That run should have him rock-hard fit now. Chris Parnham has been in the money at the last three rides. Leading contender. BILLIE (9) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fifth, beaten 7 lengths, over 5½f at Northam. Expected to measure up. LONG LAUGH (2) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a ninth over 6f at Ascot. Looks ready to run following a minor placing in a recent Lark Hill trial. Rates highly on best figures and should be right in this. BLATANT VIOLATION (8) ended up 10 lengths behind the winner in ninth on debut last start over 5½f at Ascot. Will take a lot from that experience. Can feature in the finish.
