SOUTH HOBA (9) is back from a lay-off of six months and does go well when fresh, including a win to launch last campaign over 7f at Pakenham. Placed in a recent trial. Expect her to pose a serious challenge. CRYPTIC JOY (5) improved sharply on his eighth two starts back at this track with a win over 6f at this track two weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Finds a suitable race and can make it back-to-back wins. ACROSS GENERATIONS (7) hit the frame two starts ago at Ascot but ran below par last time when sixth and beaten 3 lengths over 1m at Ascot. Suitably placed so anticipating a better run this time.
