GLASS OF ROSE (12) finished 11th two runs back then did well last start but found one better over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten only 0. 6 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot find winning ways. BLACK MINTO (6) finds it hard to win with three victories from 31 starts. Did a good job last start to finish third over 6¾f at Ipswich, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Best figures measure up nicely. Makes plenty of appeal. VORKUTA (9) was a winner last time over 7f at Gold Coast and re-unites with Brandon Lerena who steered on that occasion. Nice weight drop so he is expected to be competitive again. CARPACCIO (3) was in the money two starts back at Eagle Farm but was unable to repeat the effort last time when 12th, beaten 18 lengths, in The Wave at Gold Coast over 1m1f. Open to improvement and should be about the mark.
