RAZOR'S MAGIC (13) finished 8 lengths away in fifth last time out over 6f at Kilcoy a week-and-a-half ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will prove tough to beat. EFFIE'S JOY (12) spotted them a big start last time out and could only manage to finish fifth over 1m1f at Gold Coast. Will appreciate the drop in grade. Better placed this time and is a genuine threat. PRINCE OF SYNERGY (8) fought on for second last start over 7f at Gatton, making it two minor placings in a row. Backmarker who gets home hard. Going up a level this time but he is up to the challenge. ZOUSLAYER (3) is returning from a lay-off of 18 months. Finished sixth at Sandown-Lakeside over 6½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Jack Bruce. Ran fifth in a trial at Deagon over 5¼f recently.
