PANGAEA (6) turned in an eye catching run last time when kept coming to finish fifth at Gold Coast Poly. Expected to relish the extra ground and is worth following up. PASSIONATE REBEL (5) has Jag Guthmann-Chester going aboard after he was well held last time out in eighth over 7f at Gatton. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Sure to be in the finish. HEARSAY (9) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 2 lengths from the winner in fourth over 6f at Warwick. Deserves to break through and she is a genuine threat. VONZITHER (11) hit the frame two starts ago at this track but ran below par last time when seventh and beaten 2.5 lengths over 6½f at Toowoomba. Open to improvement and should be about the money.
