ALASKA DE LUNE (6) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound third over 6¾f at Doomben after being in the firing line on the bend. Faces an easier assignment so she is a major player. SENNACHIE (20) missed the frame last time out when sixth over 1m at Toowoomba. Still a maiden but has been in the money on eight occasions. Goes well at this journey with two minor placings to his credit. Won't find this as tough. Should be in the finish. ACES UP (2) strode forward early from his wide draw last start over 6¾f at Ipswich then fought on gamely to finish second. Placed to advantage so expect a forward showing. WHISKY TRAIN (5) impressed last time out at the second run of the campaign and finished 4.5 lengths from the winner in third over 6¾f at Ipswich. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
