SHYAMALAN (2) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 4. 5 lengths away in ninth over 6f at Canberra. Finds a tougher race but a big run will not surprise. JASON DARREN (1) has a moderate winning strike-rate but did a good job when returning from a break last time at Beaumont (Newcastle), finishing third and only 2 lengths from the winner at the end of 5¾f after being in contention on the corner. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. CALL ME TERRY (4) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when seventh, beaten 2. 5 lengths, over 6½f at Dubbo. Will strip fitter and is a key runner. TOKYO QUEEN (3) resumes. Didn't make an impact at her only run last prep on September 28, finishing ninth and beaten 10 lengths over 6½f at Dubbo. Makes plenty of appeal.
