NAFANUA (6) is a two-start maiden who returned last time and finished fifth at Wyong over 5½f, beaten 2. 5 lengths. Fitter for that outing and is a great chance to break her maiden status. DELUCE (4) returned last time with a solid third at Nowra over 6f after being in the firing line on the turn. This is a more suitable contest and can find winning form. SUDDEN STRIKE (10) missed the placings two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6½f at Orange, beaten only 0. 6 lengths after being prominent at the corner. Meets some better types this time but this looks well within his grasp. ANYONE (8) is back from a lay-off of nine months. Closed last prep with a fifth, beaten 6 lengths, over 6f at Gosford. Is lightly raced and looks forward enough after a solid recent trial. Deserves serious consideration.
