MUSICAL AFFAIR (4) led for much of the way before fading right out of it late to finish 8 lengths adrift in 13th in the Country Championships Final at Randwick last time out. Record at this journey is strong with three wins from eight runs and is sure to run well. FLETCHLO (9) got the job done last start at Dubbo over this distance after he came from a long way back on straightening. Has a very good record over this journey with two wins from four starts. Backmarker who gets home hard. Will be tough to stop. PROUD IMAGE (6) has not far away recently. Found the line strongly last time when fourth over 6f at Kembla Grange. First time at the journey but it looks the right option. KELILAH (10) produced a reasonable effort when third last start over 7f at Orange. That followed a win at Orange the start prior. Worth plenty of thought.
