LOVE CHILD (1) drifted well back last start then wound up strongly to finish fifth, beaten 3 lengths, over 5½f at Armidale. Will be tough to hold out. POTESTAS (8) was in the money when resuming then met with strong support last time but could only manage sixth over 5¼f at Blackall. Rates highly and is right in the mix. BLANC DE NOIR (2) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when she was beaten 4 lengths into fourth over 5f at Moruya. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. SPEC OF SILVER (3) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5¼f at Blackall, beaten 2 lengths. Should take a lot from that hit-out. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing.
