THE HANGER CAT (1) was a dominant winner last time over 5f at Alpha, getting home by 6 lengths. Has a high cruising speed. Best figures should see him run well. JUKEBOX LUCY (5) saluted at Mt Isa two runs ago. Not disgraced last time out when fourth over 5f at this track, beaten 1.1 lengths. Must raise the bar but a better run will not surprise. FLANK SPEED (3) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on April 2 finishing sixth and beaten 5.5 lengths over 5½f at Warwick. Among the better hopes. PHONDLE (4) finished fourth over 6f at Clermont at her most recent appearance on November 18. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
