BOLD SOUL (1) is taking on a jumps race for the first time. Good effort last start to salute on the flat by a head over 1m6f at Flemington. A big run is anticipated. KHOR (2) is going over the jumps for the first time. Finished 7 lengths away seventh at the latest appearance on the flat over 1m5f at Flemington. Ideally placed to run well. RED ACES (5) yet to strike a blow in two runs this campaign. Resumed with a 11th in a flat race at Geelong then was 18 lengths adrift in a hurdle (2m1 1/2f) at Casterton seven days ago. Expect improvement. FLYING WITNESS (7) finished fourth two runs ago (2m1/2f) at Coleraine then wound up in sixth last time in a hurdle (2m1 1/2f) at Casterton. Worth serious consideration.
