WELCOMETOTHESHOW (1) came from well back on the turn to score last time out over 6¼f at Morphettville Parks. Has a win and two placings at this journey from three starts. Should be getting home hard and is sure to be tough to beat. THE GRUMPY BEAR (2) turned in a strong run last time at the first run of the prep when he settled well back before running on hard to be beaten only half a length into second over 5½f at Kilmore. Will be tough to hold out again. LET'S TROT (3) hit the frame two starts ago at Ballarat Synthetic but ran below par last time when eighth and beaten 9 lengths over 6½f at Warrnambool after being in the firing line on the turn. Faces an easier assignment so he is perfectly placed to score. HOT CHILLI MAMA (11) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and found a forward position then knocked up in the straight to finish ninth over 6f at Moe. Better than the last run suggests.
