GINA'S A STAR (2) ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 6f at Seymour after being prominent at the bend. Has the class to take care of this field. NEVERENOUGHLEGO (5) finished 2.25 lengths away in seventh last time out over 5f at this track when when resuming from a lay-off. Tackles a longer journey this time. Sure to run well. LEFT HOOK (18) is a three-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 2.75 lengths when eighth over 5½f at Bendigo. Will derive great benefit from that outing and deserves consideration. BAJARIA (11) returns from a short break after a minor placing over 6f at Geelong. Kept ticking over subsequently with a trial win at Pakenham. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
