WALTER SPUR (10) has been in the market at his last couple of runs but failed to threaten, the latest effort a modest 12th at Geelong over 6f. Rates highly on best figures. MR TICKLES (2) had been going okay but was safely held last start when fifth over 5f at Pakenham Synthetic. Definitely worth another chance. DEEP SECRET (15) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when tenth over 5f at Cranbourne after she gave away a big start. Well placed and can fill a top-three spot.
