HEAVENBENT (9) missed the placings two starts back when resuming then ran a better race when she worked home well and finished 1.75 lengths away in fifth last time out over 5½f at Horsham. Likely improver with strong prospects. SQUID STING (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 6f at Warrnambool, beaten 5.5 lengths into tenth. Ideally placed and is sure to play a major role. KATE'S TIARA (6) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish seventh, beaten 4.5 lengths, over 6f at Bairnsdale. Can figure in the finish.
