Leading player again. DUO PERNA (4) produced a reasonable effort when sixth last start over 7¾f at Morphettville Parks, beaten 1. 3 lengths after he worked home in good style. That followed a win at this track the start prior. Finds an easier assignment and can return to winning ways. TOP OF THE RIDGE (6) drops back in trip after he was well held last time in eighth over 1m1 1/2f at Oakbank. Meets easier opposition this time. Should measure up. BLACK SEA (7) is an imported four-year-old having his first run in this area for the Aaron Bain & Ned Taylor stable. Has been gelded since his last appearance. Has not raced since he finished off last campaign with a win over 1m2f at New Plymouth Raceway five months ago. Ran seventh in a trial at Morphettville Parks over 5f and he can return with a bold run.
