BIG BRUTE (1) bounced back last start and got the job done by 1. 3 lengths as favourite over 7f at Murray Bridge. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role. GRUELLING (4) did little and finished 4 lengths from the winner in tenth over 7¾f at Morphettville Parks last start, a less impressive effort than his fourth at Murray Bridge the run before. Finds a nice race and can get the job done. MISS KERMIE (3) turned in a decent effort last start to finish second over 7f at Penola after being prominent at the turn. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is up to the task. MAKE ME A STAR (6) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 6f at this track, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Fitter and sure to run well.
