Should be in the finish. FIORENTE SPRITZ (7) finished 3.5 lengths away in fifth last time out over 1m2f at Penola two-and-a-half weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Meets a tougher line-up this time but a bold showing is expected. CUBAN LORD (2) has been thereabouts lately without being able to break through, the latest effort a third at this track over 1m3f. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Should be involved in the finish. MENACE TO SOBRIETY (6) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1m2 1/4f at Mt Gambier after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Suitably placed so he can feature again.
