CRYPTIC CLUE (3) settled well back then came home powerfully to score by a long neck over 1m at Colac last time out. Worth following up. DRUTHERS (2) was a most impressive maiden winner over 1m at Kilmore last time out, scoring by 2. 25 lengths. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. This is tougher but he cannot be underestimated. MRS GOSSIP (8) finished midfield at her first run back from a lay-off last start, beaten 8 lengths over 5½f at Stony Creek on a soft ground at a huge quote. Solid contender in this line up.
