OPEN FIRE (11) made an encouraging debut last time out, finishing 3 lengths from the winner in fifth over 6f at Pakenham. Sure to improve and can get off the mark this time. I SAID SO (3) is yet to break through after seven career starts. Managed to fill a minor placing at Pakenham two starts back before finishing fourth over 7f at Pakenham last time. Should be in the mix. HATALOOK (9) finished ninth two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5½f at Kyneton, beaten 2 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the chief contenders. MYWIFEISNOTHERE (4) could only manage to finish eighth, beaten 2. 5 lengths, at his latest appearance over 6f at Ballarat. Worth plenty of thought.
