TOMMYESS (1) closed last prep four-and-a-half months ago when he finished seventh over 6f at Mornington. Looks ready to run a big race following two recent trials. Best figures read very well. ROCKCLIFF (7) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing second and beaten only half a length over 6f at Moe after being prominent at the bend. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. ZE BEE NINE (5) was in the money two starts back at Wangaratta but was unable to repeat the effort last time when 13th, beaten 4.5 lengths, at this track over 6f. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
