APULIA (1) settled well back then picked up fairly well in the straight and finished 7 lengths away in tenth last time out over 1m1f at this track two weeks ago. Steps up in distance. Sure to prove very tough to beat. DIAMOND SCENE (3) showed good early dash and raced on the speed last start before fading to finish 6 lengths back in ninth over 1m1f in the G1 Northerly Stakes at this track. Rates highly and expected to go well. HOBA WEST (10) scored last start at this track to make it four wins from seven starts this campaign. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. One of the main contenders. IN GOOD ORDER (9) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m1f at this track, beaten 5. 5 lengths into seventh. Chris Parnham gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
