SEVEN CANDLES (1) broke through for his maiden win over 6½f at Pinjarra last time. Sparingly raced and has more to offer. Shaping up nicely and a bold showing is expected. PONY UP (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 2 lengths over 1m1/4f at Belmont Park. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well. SKY GOD (5) was ridden quietly from a good draw last start before closing nicely to get up for sixth over 1m1/4f at Belmont Park. Can feature in the finish. OISIN (2) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing seventh at Belmont Park over 1m1/4f after he got a long way back in the run. In the right race and should be in the mix.
