SALOON BAR (5) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fourth, beaten 1.2 lengths, over 5½f in the G3 Roma Cup at this track. Look for another barnstorming finish. RIPCORD (2) is a talented gelding who tackled a tougher race at his last run on December 14 and finished 16th behind Western Empire over 7f in the G3 Gold Rush at this track. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will prove hard to hold out. TWAIN'S ANGEL (13) returns from a short break after winning over 6f at this track eight weeks ago. Shouldn't lack fitness after a recent Belmont Park trial placing. Well placed and is expected to feature. SNOWDOME (3) dug deep to score two runs back then was beaten 3 lengths into fifth over 5½f at Albany last time six weeks ago. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Don't underestimate.
