Looks better placed over this shorter trip so should be in the finish. JANNY (6) raced on the speed last start and battled on well but found one better over 5f at Pinjarra. William Pike who has scored on her two times retains the mount. Leading contender. CAPO VELOCE (3) finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 5f at this track when he worked home well, beaten 0.7 lengths. Placed to advantage so expect a big run. MY JIMMY (4) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Bunbury three-and-a-half months ago. Brad Parnham stays on. Solid claims on best form.
