The winkers are removed now and looks a top chance in this. ROYAL TORONADO (6) travelled in a rearwards position then made a little ground and finished 4 lengths away in sixth last time out over 1m at this track two weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Major player in this line up. LORD VAMPI (1) scored last start in the LR J. C. Roberts Stakes at this track to make it two wins from three starts this campaign. Should park just off the speed. Will be in this for a long way. BUCKETS RIDGE (11) missed the placings two runs back then didn't do any better last start when 8 lengths away in 11th over 1m1f at this track. Worth noting William Pike goes aboard. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
